StoryWorks Academy
Questions and answers
Dates, deadlines, feedback and the certificate. If your question is not here, write to hello@storyworks.academy.
When does the Founding Cohort run?
From Sunday 1 November to Sunday 6 December 2026. That is 36 days rather than 30 because Diwali falls in the first week, so session one gets a fortnight.
What does the programme contain?
Four recorded sessions of about two hours each, released one a week. Three live sessions with Indranil on Zoom, Sundays at 6 pm IST. Three stories that you record yourself and send in, each answered personally.
How do I send a story?
Record yourself telling a two-to-three-minute story. Audio is enough; video is welcome. The Record now button on each story page does it from your phone, or you can choose a recording you made in your phone's own recorder. One recording per story.
What are the deadlines?
Tuesday 17 November, Tuesday 24 November and Tuesday 1 December, each by 11:59 pm IST. Feedback follows the cohort calendar, so a story that is not sent by its deadline does not receive feedback.
What does the feedback look like?
A voice note from Indranil and a photo of the story map he draws by hand while listening. It is not a score or a rubric. It stays yours to download after the programme ends.
Is there a certificate?
Yes, signed by Indranil, once all three stories are in. It comes with a link anyone can use to verify it.
How long do I have access?
Video access ends on 31 January 2027. Your feedback, your own recordings and your certificate stay available after that.
Is there a cohort group?
There is a voluntary WhatsApp group. You choose whether to join it; nobody is added without asking.
When is the next cohort?
The Founding Cohort is full. The next cohort opens in January 2027. Write to hello@storyworks.academy and we will let you know when enrolment opens.
